About the role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our friendly and supportive team in Dartford on a full-time, permanent basis.
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our patients. You will work autonomously while also being part of a wider multidisciplinary team, using your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, treat and manage a wide range of conditions.

Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients.
- Managing patients presenting with a wide range of acute and long-term conditions.
- Working autonomously within your scope of practice.
- Prescribing safely and appropriately in line with your qualifications and professional responsibilities.
- Identifying and managing patients who may require onward referral or further investigation.
- Providing clinical advice, education and support to patients and their families.
- Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Supporting the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care.
- Maintaining accurate and appropriate clinical records.
- Participating in clinical audits, quality improvement and practice development where appropriate.
- Maintaining professional knowledge and ensuring continued compliance with relevant clinical and professional standards.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner who is confident working autonomously and committed to delivering excellent patient care.
You will ideally have:
- Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration.
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification or equivalent advanced clinical practice qualification.
- Independent prescribing qualification.
- Significant experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or in an advanced clinical practice role.
- Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical governance and patient safety.
